The staff were very nice.

Beautiful place. I was there visiting. The person I visited absolutely loved it there. She said they are caring and attentive.

Nurse Kelly was very helpful in setting up a small birthday dinner for my family on 5/2 and one of the CNAs brought me a dinner so I could eat with my Dad a couple nights previously. Great job by these two staff members.

Beautiful facility! From the moment I entered the building, I felt genuinely welcomed. The staff were engaged, attentive, and clearly cared about the residents they were interacting with. It is truly comforting to know there are still nurses and CNAs who have a deep passion for the work they do.

Good Care

The rooms are nice. The staff is wonderful. Checking in is easy.

My Mom has been in several times and the care she gets is fantastic.

We had a very nice visit. The nurses were very pleasant and paid attention to what was going on with us as visitors. The physical therapist was also very pleasant and communicative.

The people that work in some of the offices have a shall I say “laid back unprofessional dress code.” Example, Friday I guess was casual Friday and in the office I was in this person was wearing a old pair of jeans that were ripped on the bottoms along with an old t-shirt. She was dressed like someone doing yard work. The CNA has on a pair of Levi and suspenders with a t-shirt underneath like she was in a “gang” somewhere. Extremely unprofessional when visitors are coming in and out. As far as the care, it definitely a step upbove the last rehab my friend was in. I believe employees dress wear is a sign of the company they work for. I realized when I came to Nevada 30 years ago, this was kind of the norm, but it still doesn’t sit right with me. Have a little more pride in yourself and the company you work for.

Great staff, they take exceptional care of my wife. After her back surgery, she’s been in rehab and we believe that she’s making headway and will walk again. She is very happy with her care and the tenderness they exhibit towards their patients and family members. Also due to their quick actions the staff saved my wife’s life not once but twice. I thank God they are such well trained and alert staff.

Good support people

I came to Sierra BasinAcute Rehab via Barton Memorial Hospital’s Emergency Department after being hit by another skier at Kirkwood Resort. I have two broken legs and two surgeries later I am still non weight bearing. The separate private sleeping areas of their pod-like double rooms, with a shared large bathroom work pretty well. It’s really bright with each sleeping area having a large window. The regular staff RN’s are superb and early on, when my medical needs were many, they were there for me at the level I required. The regular staff CNA’s are the best. Seriously they work so hard and remember the little things are are important to each of their patients. They are kind and wonderful! The large well equipped gym is also light and bright. The PT and OT specialist are great and work 1 on 1 with all of their patients with their specific needs.

Clean. Kind staff. Accessable. Seems like a great place with great care and PT!

This is the second time we’ve had our Aunt at this location. The first time we were very pleased that’s why we picked you the second time as well. Today was our first visit her second time and we are very pleased.

RN Jordan is outstanding. Jordan has a true heart for patients!
